YOUR INFORMATION
A clear view of your learning data.
This describes the current KARKA implementation. Your organisation’s administrator is responsible for deployment, access and retention policies.
Account and progress
Microsoft supplies your name, account address and organisation/user identifiers after sign-in. KARKA uses the verified identifiers to keep each learner’s profile separate. Lesson activity, written practice, planner sessions, initial check results, daily assessment answers/scores and preferences are saved in the app’s private account database. A browser cache helps preserve unsynced drafts for the same account.
Practice timing and correction records
KARKA saves checked first choices, correction attempts, review acknowledgements and observed answering times with your account. Activity totals distinguish active time, idle gaps, tab or window absence and planned breaks. These browser observations do not prove attention or proficiency and do not earn speed points. The app does not record raw keystrokes, the addresses of other sites or camera-based attention data for these measures. Unsent timing intervals may be lost when a page closes. You can hide the block clock; no answering deadline is imposed.
Sessions and security records
KARKA uses an HttpOnly session cookie and a temporary sign-in state cookie. Sessions expire after seven days or twelve hours of inactivity. Sign-in and sign-out event records are kept for thirty days. KARKA does not receive or store your Microsoft password.
Optional AI
Claude explanations require your consent before a request. Approved lesson text or a submitted assessment result goes to Anthropic. Your account name, email and other progress are not part of those explanation requests. AI feedback can be wrong and is not a proficiency certificate.
Optional email reminders
Daily learning alerts are off until you opt in. They use Microsoft Graph to send to your signed-in address. You can change the time or turn them off in Account. Graph acceptance does not prove that an email arrived in your inbox.
Microphone practice
Recording requires browser permission. Browser speech recognition has its own consent control and may process audio through the browser provider. Recording and transcripts are not sent to Claude by the explanation feature.
Your choices
You can export learning progress, clear your saved baseline and turn reminders off in the app. Contact your organisation’s KARKA administrator for account access, deletion or retention questions. A full self-service account deletion flow is not implemented.
